Hi friends, today we will be creating a photo manipulation tutorial using some stock free images, this tutorial is really very easy, why I am saying it is easy because I have used very minimum effects. According to me photo manipulation is an eternal art, it keeps on going, the depth is unknown, Famous people have created spell bounding creation with this superb art called photomanipulation. Ok now lets move on to the tutorial.
Here I have used few stock images.
STEP-1 Download the tree image first. Duplicate the image by pressing CTRL+J thrice. Now switch of the icon of the last layer.
STEP-2 Select the top layer, we are going to make this image into black and white, to do that press CTRL+SHIFT+U, this will desaturate the image.
STEP-3 Now go to filter menu>Blur>GaussianBlur, and set the radius to 4.
STEP-4 Still in the top layer, set the layer blending mode to softlight.
STEP-5 Once again make a duplicate of the original tree layer and place this layer at the top and set the blending mode to screen.
STEP-6 Go to image>adjustments>curves or just press CTRL+M for short cut to bring up the curves window, now set the output to 33 and input to 54.
This is how the image will look.
STEP-7 Now open the girl image, using polygonal lasso tool, cut off only the girl part.
STEP-8 Once you have cut the girl image, duplicate this image by pressing CTRL+J. Now select the duplicated layer press CTRL+SHIFT+U to desaturate the image.
STEP-9 Go to filter menu>Blur>GaussianBlur and set the radius to 3.
STEP-10 Set the blending mode of this layer into overlay.
STEP-11 Again Press CTRL+J to duplicate this layer and set the blending mode of this layer to color burn.
This is how the image will look.
STEP-12 Open the wings image, using the polygonal lasso tool cut out the wings and place it back of the girl, let this wing layer be moved below the girl layer and set the blending mode of this layer to linear light. See the image below.
STEP-13 Now duplicate this layer, select the original wing layer, press CTRL and click on the layer, this will select the pixels of the layer, once it is selected, press D to make the foreground color as black and background color as white, now press ALT+Backspace to apply the color, now this layer behind the wing will become black.
STEP-14 Now go to filtermenu>Blur>GaussianBlur and set the radius to 3. And set the opacity level of this layer to 80%.
This is how the image will look.
STEP-15 Open the flying dove image, and place it accordingly as you see in the image below.
STEP-16 Now take the other dove image and place it accordingly, now press CTRL+J to duplicate this layer, bring in the transform tool by pressing CTRL+T, right click upon the transform tool and select the option flip vertical and place it accordingly as if the dove is dead.
STEP-17 Now open the magic wand image, cut out the wand portion from the image, and place it down near the girl, as I have done it in the image below.
STEP-18 Now we will create a aura ring above the head of the girl, create a new layer above, pick the elliptical marquee tool, create a oval shape, fill it with white color, again using the elliptical marquee tool, cut the center portion of the image, then double on this layer, and apply the following layer style values.
STEP-19 Now open the hyena image, using the polygonal lasso tool, cut out the hyena part and place it behind the tree image, once you have placed it, set the blending mode of this layer into vivid light.
That’s it done with tutorial. This is the final preview.
