Hello friends, Today in this Photoshop tutorial we will create a beautiful chrome text effect. This is a very easy effect, but this effect looks so real than other chrome effects. Just with the use of layer styles you can create this beautiful chrome effect. Ok now let’s see how to create this simple, easy and beautiful chrome text effect.
STEP-1 Open a new document with width and height of 400 pixels respectively.
STEP-2 Pick the gradient tool from the tools palette, or just press G to bring in the gradient tool, in the properties bar select the black and white gradient, right beside that select the radial gradient and set the gradient colours as mentioned below. Now drag the gradient tool from centre to right.
STEP-3 Pick the type tool type any word as you like. Here i have used TYPORM01 fonts download the font here.

STEP-4 Now double click on the text layer to bring in the layer style window. Apply the layer style values accordingly. Here i have used DROP SHADOW, OUTER GLOW, BEVEL and EMBOSS, GRADIENT OVERLAY.
That’s it i think we have got the desired chrome effect. This is final preview of the image.
