Photoshop Tutorial: Create A Elegant Music Player Interface.

Hello friends, Today in this Photoshop Tutorial we will create a beautiful music player interface. Here we will be using lots of gradients and drop shadows. UI designing has become a rage with most of the designers. Lots of people are getting into interface designing. This tutorial will teach you create a beautiful music player interface. Ok now let’s move on to the tutorial.

STEP-1   Open a new document with width of 500 pixels and height of 300 pixels.

STEP-2   Pick the rounded rectangle tool with the radius of 5 pixels and draw a shape as you see below.

STEP-3   Double click on this layer to bring in the layer style window. Once the layer style window appears, apply the following layer style values. Here I have used DROP SHADOW and GRADIENT OVERLAY.

STEP-4   Again using the same rounded rectangle tool draw another shape as you see below. Once you have drawn the shape double click on this layer to bring in the layer style window and apply the following layer style values. Here I have used only DROP SHADOW effect.

STEP-5   Again using the rounded rectangle tool draw another shape as you see below. Again double click on this layer and apply any gray scale pattern overlay. Here I have this pattern.

STEP-6   Again pick the rounded rectangle tool and draw another similar shape as you see below. Double click on this layer to bring in the layer style window and apply the following layer style values.

STEP-7   Now we will create the slider button. To do that pick the rounded rectangle tool again and draw a similar shape as I have drawn below. Apply the layer style which I have used here. Here I have used DROP SHADOW AND GRADIENT OVERLAY.

STEP-8   We mostly will be using the rounded rectangle tool to create the basic shapes. Here too using the rounded rectangle tool, create another shape similar to what I have drawn below. Double click on this layer to bring in the layer style window and apply any pattern overlay.

STEP-9   Go to Custom shape palette and at the top of the option menu select the triangle shape, and draw the shape as I done here below. Double click on this layer and apply some DROP SHADOW and GRADIENT OVERLAY layer style values.

STEP-10   Now duplicate this triangle and place this accordingly to make it look like forward and backward buttons. Copy the layer style which we have used in STEP-6 and paste it in this forward and backward buttons. This is how it will look.

STEP-11   Create another shape using the rounded rectangle tool, copy the layer style of the previous step. That is the layer style used in STEP-10. And paste it in this layer.

STEP-12   Draw another shape using the rounded rectangle tool, let this shape be placed behind all the layers. Once done, apply layer style values to this shape. Here I have used DROP SHADOW and GRADIENT OVERLAY.

STEP-13   In this step create antennae using some basic shapes and basic gradient overlay values. This is how it will look. You need not be specific, use any color combination as you like. I have used just plain grey and white here.

STEP-14   Now using the elliptical tool draw a small circle shape at the corner of the music interface. Double click on this layer to bring in the layer style window and apply the layer style values. Once done duplicate this shape and place in all the corners. See the image below.

STEP-15   We are nearing the end of the tutorial. Here in this step, using the rounded rectangle tool draw a shape as you see below. Apply INNER SHADOW layer style to this layer.

STEP-16   Add some text, volume and other extras, as I have used here to make the interface even more stylish and beautiful.
