Hello friends, we are back again with an simple Photoshop Tutorial. Here in this tutorial you will learn how to create a simple music player icon. Every step is explained in detail. Step-1 Open anew document with width and height of 400 px respectively.

Step-2 Pick the rounded rectangle tool from the tools palette, at the top of the menu bar, set the radius of the rounded rectangle to 25 pixels. Once it is done, draw an shape as i have drawn it below.

Step-3 Now double click on this shape layer to bring in the layer style window, and apply the following layer style value. Here i have used GRADIENT OVERLAY, and STROKE.

Step-4 Pick the elliptical tool and draw a circle shape as you see below, with colour code # 162037. Once you have set the fill colour, double click on this layer to bring in the layer style window and apply the following layer style values. Here i have used only INNER GLOW value.

Step-5 Create a new layer at the top, pick the elliptical marquee tool from the tools palette and make a selection.

Step-6 Now press D to bring in the default colour that is black and white palette and then again press X to inverse the colours. Now you can see white as your foreground colour. Now press ALT+ Back space to fill in the selection. Now you have filled the selection, pick the rectangle marquee tool and cut the object into half. See the image below.

Step-7 In this step we will give some blur to the same object . To do that go to filter menu> Blur > Gaussian Blur and set the radius amount to 3.7 pixels.

Step-8 Repeat the above step to create another reflection at the bottom of the circle shape. This how it will look.

Step-9 Now pick the rectangle tool from the tools palette and draw a similar i have below. Once you drawn the shape ,press A to bring in the direct selection tool, once the tool is active, click on the vector mask thumbnail of the layer, then select the bottom anchor points of the shape and move it little towards left using the arrow keys.

Step-10 Now duplicate this layer multiple time, place it accordingly. Once you have placed these shape at the top, select all the shapes at the top and duplicate it, now press CTRL+T to bring in the transform tool, once the transform tool is active, right click upon it and select the option flip horizontal. Now bring down these shapes and place it accordingly at the bottom. See the image below.

Step-11 Using the rectangle tool from the tools palette draw a horizontal shape as i have drawn below with the fill colour # 000000. Duplicate this shape and place at the bottom too. Check the image below.

Step-12 In the tools palette select the custom shape tool and at the top of the menu tab pick the triangle tool and draw a shape as you see below. Place this triangle shape at the centre of the circle. Let the fill colour of this triangle shape be # 10b2e7.

Step-13 Now double click on this triangle shape layer to bring in the layer style window. Apply the following layer style values. Here i have used only INNER GLOW value.

Step-14 Here in this step we will create the seek bar, to do that pick the rounded rectangle tool from the tools palette with 25 pixels radius and draw a horizontal shape as you see below. Let the fill colour of this shape be 4c4d4d.

Step-15 Double click on this layer and apply the following layer style values. here i have used INNER SHADOW effect.

Step-16 Again pick the rounded rectangle tool with the same values draw another small horizontal shape at the centre of the previous shape. Double click on this layer and apply the GRADIENT OVERLAY effect to it. This is how the image will look after apply the effects.

Step-17 Here will will create the seek button, to do that pick the elliptical tool and draw a small circle as you see below. We will apply some GRADIENT OVERLAY and DROP SHADOW effects. To do that double click on this layer to bring in the layer style window and apply the layer style effect.

Step-18 Now again create a small circle shape at the centre of the previous shape. Apply GRADIENT OVERLAY and OUTER GLOW effect to this shape.
