Step-1 Open a new document with width and height of 400 pixels respectively.
Step-2 Pick the elliptical tool from the tools palette and draw a circular shape as you see below. Once you have created the circular shape, now double click on the layer to bring in the layer style window, apply the following layer style effects. Here i have used DROP SHADOW, BEVEL EMBOSS and GRADIENT OVERLAY.
Step-3 Using the same elliptical tool create another small circular shape at the centre of the previous circle. Let the colour code of this shape be # 262e32. Now double click on this layer to bring in the layer style window and apply the following layer style effects. Here i have used INNER SHADOW and STROKE effects. This is how the image will look once after applying the layer style values.
Step-4 Now in this step we will create a power icon. To do that, pick the elliptical tool from the tools palette, and draw a circular shape. Let the vector mask thumbnail be active, now at the top of the menu tab select the option subtract from the menu area. Once you have made necessary selections, activate the elliptical tool and subtract the centre portion of the circle. See the image below.
Step-5 Using the same method as used in Step-4 delete some part of the circle. See the image below.
Step-6 Here in this step pick the rounded rectangle with 5 pixel radius, and draw a vertical rectangle shape. See the image below. Now transform this shape into a smaller size and place it exactly at the centre of the circle. Let the colour code of these two shape be # 222a2e.
Step-7 Now double clcik on any one of the above shape layer and apply the following layer style effects. Here i have used only INNER SHADOW effect. Once done copy the layer style of this shape and paste it on the other shape layer.
Step-8 Group both these layers, duplicate this group layer. Hide the original group layer. Open the duplicate group layer, you can name it. Select any one of the shape, double click on this layer to bring in the layer style window apply the following layer style effects. Here i have used INNER SHADOW, OUTER GLOW, GRADIENT OVERLAY effects. Once it is done copy the layer style effect of this shape and paste it on the other shape layer. This is how the image will look. This will be the power on button.
This is the final preview of the image.
